If you never heard about WP Rocket, you’ve come to the right place. WP Rocket plugin is a first commercial WordPress caching plugin and is relatively new compared to other caching plugins such as W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache. Although the plugin was just released internationally few months ago, the plugin was first released to the French market about 8 months before that. This allows the team to get feedback and make some improvements to the plugin before it was released to larger audience.
In case if you’re wondering why you should use WP Rocket while W3 Total Cache already does a great job, here’s a comparison table table between WP Rocket and few other well-known WordPress caching plugins:
Pricing
The plugin comes with few price plans. The Personal is priced at $39 and is good for 1 site only. If you need more than 1 site, the Business plan allows you to use the plugin on 3 sites while Pro plan allows you to use the plugin on unlimited number of sites. If you’re a developer and have lots of clients, the Pro plan is the most recommended plan to go for.
All plans come with 1 year of updates and support.
Plugin Installation
Installing the plugin is no different to installating other WordPress plugin. Please read our tutorial on how to install WordPress plugin if you’re new to this. However, since this is a commercial plugin, you’ll need to verify your license by inserting valid API key in the plugin settings page.
Before activating your API key, make sure you’ve entered the URL of your website on WP Rocket settings page on their website and make sure the URL match exactly the URL of the site.
Conclusion
From their website, you can see that WP Rocket has powered almost 4000 websites. Bear in mind that since this plugin was first released to the French audience, most of these websites are probably from those French users. With the release to the international audience, we expect the growth will be exponential in few months time.
Should you buy WP Rocket?
Remember that when you purchase the plugin, you also get updates and support for 1 year. Since support are given, it’s absolutely worth every penny to buy this plugin. While W3 Total Cache and other caching plugins work for most WordPress sites, WP Rocket comes with extra features and the development team also have plan to add new features in future.
While free support is given for W3 Total Cache users on WordPress forum, it’s not guaranteed to your questions will be answered. If you’re looking for premium support, the cheapest plan is still way more expensive than what WP Rocket costs for a year.

By default, WordPress itself is very secure. However, there are few plugin that will help you strengthen your website security. However, no plugin is able to guarantee that your site cannot be hacked at all.

Hey,
Nothing is ever really secure, however I’d recommend a small plugin called iThemes Security, it’s clean, simple and will help you through a number of methods that will help you become more secure, simple stuff like changing the admin URL, uploads URL and database prefix. However be careful, make a database and full site backup before doing anything, these plugins can be dangerous if you do a setting wrong.

I think you are wrong. There are still privacy and security which is helps you to keep privacy.
