How to Allow Users to Login WordPress.org Site With WordPress.com Account

In this tutorial, we’re going to show you how to allow users to login to your WordPress.org (self-hosted) site using WordPress.com account. First, you need to install and activate Jetpack plugin. Then, make sure to connect your Jetpack with your WordPress.com.

Once you’ve done steps mentioned above, go to Jetpack settings page. Look for Jetpack Single Sign On module and activate it. Try open up your login page and you’ll see a new Login with WordPress.com button as shown in the screenshot below:

That’s pretty easy and straightforward.

Once a user logged in to the site for first time, they’ll see list of information that will be shared with the site. If you’ve concern about you password being shared with the site, fret not as it will never be shared with the site.
