Whenever you got lots of comments on a blogpost, sometimes it’s hard to know which comments are valuable and worth reading. It’d great if there’s something that can differentiate or highlight the best comments with the rest of the comments.
Enter Feature Comments plugin, another awesome plugin by Pippin Williamson.
After installing the plugin, you’ll see two new links, Feature and Bury, both on the comments page and on front end of your side.
Comments marked as feature or bury will have additional “featured” or “buried” css class to help you customize them even further such as adding background, change the font color and size and etc. You can use these two additional classes to highlight the feature comments and make them look different then the rest of the comments.
Here’s an example: .featured { background-color: #f5f5f5, font-weight: bold }
We hope this simple tutorial helped you to feature best comments and in your WordPress site, and thus help to add more value to your site.
