Github is becoming more popular among WordPress developers due to its flexibility and many great features it has. Previously, we’ve shared a nice WordPress plugin to display recent Github activities in WordPress. In today’s tutorial, we’d like to share another cool plugin called Github Contributors. This is another great plugin by Pippins Williamson.
As the name suggests, this plugin allows you to display list of contributors to your Github-hosted project with a shortcode. If you want to see it action, take a look at Easy Digital Download contributors page. There, you’ll see a list of all contributors to Easy Digital Download plugin, complete with their name and avatar.
Showing off your list of contributors is definitely a cool way thank them and show how popular your plugin is among other developers.
